Doreen Wright
Former Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer, Campbell Soup Company
Doreen Wright served as Campbell’s Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer from 2001 – 2008. She led the company’s global information technology organization and reported to Douglas R. Conant, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining Campbell, Doreen was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Nabisco.
Doreen began her career at Merrill Lynch, managing several retail client service processing units. In 1984, she joined Bankers Trust Company as Vice President, Institutional Trust and Custody Marketing. For the next 10 years, she held leadership positions as a Managing Director and Senior Vice President of numerous large-scale institutional customer service and technology groups. From 1995 through 1998, Doreen was Senior Vice President, Operations and Systems for Prudential Insurance Company’s Prudential Investment Group. She was the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Nabisco from 1999 to 2001.
Doreen serves on the Board of Directors of the Dean Foods Company, Conseco, Inc. and the Oriental Trading Company. Doreen has previously served on the boards of The Yankee Candle Company, Alphanet Solutions, Inc., the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, and the American Repertory Ballet. She was also a trustee of the Campbell Soup Foundation.
Doreen is a frequent industry speaker on an array of topics including Business and IT transformations and Audit Committee oversight of IT risk. She was an advisory board member of MIT’s Center for Information Systems Research and Temple University’s Fox School of Business. She also served on the Gartner Advisory Board. She has a passion for the arts and has been a trustee and patron of numerous performing and fine arts organizations.
Doreen was awarded the Amy B. Kahn Women in IT Leadership award in 2004, the Temple University Fox School of Business Information Technology Leader award in 2007, and was inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame in November 2008.
Doreen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979.
Maureen Breakiron-Evans
Retired Chief Financial Officer, Towers Perrin
Maureen Breakiron-Evans recently retired as Chief Financial Officer of Towers Perrin where she headed Finance Resources and was responsible for the firm’s financial strategy.
Before joining Towers Perrin, Maureen was the General Auditor and Enterprise Risk Manager at CIGNA Corporation, one of the largest health insurers in the United States. Prior to that, Maureen was Executive Vice President and CFO at Inovant, LLC, the VISA entity which was created to develop and operate VISA’s payment and transactions systems globally. Maureen has also served in several executive positions at Transamerica Corporation, including CIO and VP, Finance, and was an Audit Partner with Arthur Andersen in San Francisco.
Maureen lives with her family in Villanova and is active in her community. She serves or has recently served on the Boards of Cognizant, ING Direct, Stetson University, Walnut Street Theatre, World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, and St. John Vianney Church. Maureen is a CPA and holds degrees from Stetson University, Harvard Business School, and Stanford University, as well as a certification from the Cordon Bleu culinary school in Paris. She enjoys international travel, photography, reading, golf, music, and food and wine.
Molly ShepardFounder & CEO, The Leader's Edge
Molly D. Shepard is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Leader’s Edge™, LLC, a company dedicated to the advancement of executive and high-potential women. She has more than twenty years’ experience in career counseling, leadership development, executive coaching and executive search. Through her leadership as Chairman, President and Co-founder of Manchester Inc., one of the world’s largest career development consulting firms, she helped develop the highest standards of excellence in program design and delivery. Manchester became one of the nation’s top human resources consulting firms helping thousands of people a year transition into new jobs and reach their potential as leaders under her guidance.
Prior to co-founding Manchester Inc. in 1983, Molly was Regional Vice President for Hay Career Consultants, a division of The Hay Group. Prior to joining Hay, Ms. Shepard was Vice President of Diversified Search, Inc., a Philadelphia-based executive search firm. Early in her career, Molly was Director of Admissions and a member of the executive committee of the Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia.
In addition to managing her company and raising three children, Molly has served as a member of the Boards of Directors of The American Heart Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Keystone Financial Inc., Keystone Bank N.A., Rosemont College, Liberty Savings Bank, a subsidiary of Equimark Corporation, the Kimmel Center, the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education Board of Overseers and the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia. She is currently active as: Chairman Emeritus of The United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Chairman Emeritus of WHYY Inc., President Emeritus of the Pennsylvania Women’s Forum, and is Vice Chairman and a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. Molly is also a member of the Boards of Directors of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society–Greater Delaware Valley Chapter and WHYY Inc.
In 1998, Molly was awarded the American Heart Association’s Heart of Philadelphia Award for her leadership and dedication to the community. In 2001, she received the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Paradigm Award as the outstanding woman business leader of the year and won the Pennsylvania Best 50 Women in Business Award. In 2003, Molly was honored by the March of Dimes as a Montgomery County Woman of Achievement. Molly was the recipient of the 2004 Beta Gamma Sigma Award from the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University, and in 2005, the recipient of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Women of Distinction Award. In 2006, she received the Trailblazer Award from Philadelphia Magazine and the Citizen Volunteer of the Year Award from United Way. Most recently, Molly was honored as the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s 2008 Woman Caring About What Matters Award for her work and dedication to their women’s initiatives.
Molly published her first book, Stop Whining and Start Winning (Penguin 2005), which deftly exposes the roadblocks that keep women from reaching the top of the corporate ladder—and offers eight powerful strategies to overcome these hurdles and be more successful. It is a valuable resource for women—helping them understand their business culture, work through the challenges, balance work and home life, and get ahead without sacrificing their unique style and identity. Her second book, Breaking Into the Boys’ Club (M. Evans and Company, Inc.), was published in May 2009.
Molly holds a B.A. from Wheaton College, a Masters degree in Psychological Services and Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania, a MSM in Leadership from The American College, and in May 2006 received an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from West Chester University.
Molly, with her husband, Peter Dean, are partners in business. They are parents of four children, two of whom live with them in Philadelphia, PA.
Catherine Bromilow
US Corporate Governance Leader, PricewaterhouseCoopers
Catherine L. Bromilow, CPA, is a partner in the Corporate Governance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She works with boards of directors and audit committees of major companies and institutions, providing insight on leading practice, enhancing their ability to comply with evolving regulations and expectations, and benchmarking their processes against leading practices. She has worked extensively with boards and directors from a number of countries, including the Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Mexico, the United States, and Venezuela.
For the past 12 years, Ms. Bromilow has been active in researching and advising on matters relating to board-level governance. She oversees numerous publications for audit committees and boards, including PricewaterhouseCoopers’ annual Current Developments for Directors and the quarterly periodical, To the Point. She is a regular guest on This Week in the Boardroom, an on-demand webcast for directors covering emerging issues. She was the principal author of Audit Committee Effectiveness – What Works Best, 3rd Edition, released in 2005, which helps audit committees understand the leading practices in discharging their many and complex responsibilities. She also was the project manager and principal author for the 2nd Edition of that book and its companion report, Corporate Governance and the Board – What Works Best, both of which were released in 2000. In 2009, for the third consecutive year, Directorship magazine named her as one of the 100 most influential people in corporate governance.
Ms. Bromilow speaks frequently about leading corporate governance practices at conferences and seminars, and has lectured at the university level. She is a Certified Public Accountant (licensed in New Jersey), a Chartered Accountant from Canada, and holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

Elva L. Bankins is Executive Vice President Corporate Services for OI Partners, International a talent management solutions consulting firm with over 200 offices in 27 countries. She is responsible for business development and strategic marketing solutions providing Human Resources solutions to corporations within the Philadelphia area. With an extensive background that includes start-ups in technology, career services and human capital management, Elva has expertise in leadership development, executive coaching, executive search and managing career transition strategies across a broad spectrum of industries.
Most recently, Elva was Senior Partner at Kelleher Associates, a career consulting and executive coaching firm for executives. She was responsible for business development and executive and career coaching. Prior to Kelleher Associates, Elva was an executive search consultant for CEO Resources a retained executive search firm in the Greater Philadelphia area
Prior to CEO Resources, Elva was Senior Vice President and General Manager of an international professional services firm in the Philadelphia and Delaware area, Lee Hecht Harrison. She was responsible for P&L, business development, client relations and office operations. Under her leadership, the number of offices doubled, the staff increased proportionately and office revenues doubled, increasing the visibility of the firm in the local area.
With a former background in Information Technology, she became the President and Founder of Bankins Consulting. The firm was a consultancy that specialized in sales and marketing projects for small to mid-size technology companies. Prior to that, she spent five years selling enterprise-wide solutions for SAP America, Inc. during its initial startup in the US marketplace. Elva has held various positions of increasing responsibility in several start-up and entrepreneurial companies in the field of Technology prior to joining SAP America.
A consummate connector of people, Elva has a passion for human resources consulting with executives while providing tactical and strategic solutions. She speaks at various corporate, professional and community organizations throughout the Philadelphia area and is often quoted in the local and national print media. Elva, chosen as One of Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business was also awarded the Take the Lead Award by the Girl Scouts of America. Past president of the Network of Women in Computer Technology, she was most recently selected as a Woman of Distinction for Philadelphia. Elva has served on many boards of non-profits in the Philadelphia area and is the Immediate past president of The Forum of Executive Women. She is a founding member of the Advisory Board of the PNC Women’s Financial Services Network.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Eastern University, St. Davids, Pennsylvania.
