As I always say, please don't join Women in the boardroom solely to access the board openings, because it's not as simple as putting down a credit card and getting onto a board. You actually have to do the work.

Below you will see an update on our most recent openings. You will see that there are many where no one has been interviewed, or are in pending status still after many months. It’s definitely challenging when we don’t hear back after sharing opportunities, for both you and us. I don’t want to stop circulating them, because you never know what might be the right fit.

Over the years, we’ve helped several members secure board roles through these openings (and thousands overall). Submitting your information is valuable because it puts your board bio in front of decision-makers, even if it ultimately connects you to a different opportunity than the one you applied for.

We also receive confidential openings. In those cases, I can only personally select a small group to submit. (We had two of these in Q4 2025, and both contacts will be attending the Board Assembly on January 20, 2026.)
